Button if desired for flower center
Size: F hook for a smaller size.
Child 3-12 G hook

Rd. 1. Ch. 5, join to make ring. Ch2 (does not count as a dc),
Make 12 dc in ring, join to 1st dc. (12dc)
Rd. 2 Ch. 2, 2 dc in same st as ch. 2, 2 dc in next each dc around, join to 1st dc. (24 dc)
Rd. 3 Ch. 2, dc in same st. as ch. 2, 2 dc in next dc, * dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, repeat* around, join to 1st dc.
(36 dc)
Rd. 4 Ch. 2, dc in same st as ch. 2, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc,
dc in the next 2 dc, 2 dc in the next dc, Repeat* around, join to 1st dc. (48 dc)
Rd. 5 Ch. 4, dc in sane st as ch. 4 (v-stitch made: dc ch. 1 dc),
V-stitch in every other dc around, join to 3rd ch of ch. 4. . (24 v-stitches made)
Rd. 6 Ch. 4, dc in same st. as ch. 4, * skip next ch. 1 space and next dc, v-stitch in next dc, * repeat around, join

I Hook (Hook size and Guage are not relative. It depends on personal preference in scarf size.) Scarf in sample is 92
inches.
3 X-Stitches=2 inches.
Loosely chain 15.
Row 1. SC in 2nd chain from hook and in each chain across. Ch. 3, turn.
14 sc
Row 2-Ch 3 (counts a dc here and throughtout pattern.) skip next sc, *dc in next dc, dc in skipped sc (X-stitch made),
*repeat 5 more times, dc in last sc. Ch 3, turn.
Row 3- Ch 3 (counts a dc here and throughout pattern.) skip next dc, *dc in next dc, dc in skipped dc (X-stitch made),
*repeat 5 more times, dc in chain 3 of turning chain. Ch 3, turn.
Row 4-120 or desired length. Repeat Row 3.
Row 121. Sc in each stitch across. 14 sc
I joined to row 120 to row 1 make an infinity scarf. Fasten off and weave in ends.
